Bahamian Artists Set to “Rock NYC” at Massive Caribbean Concert

Who remembers watching ‘TEMPO’ on Cable TV?!

Well the Caribbean infused music and entertainment network is turning 10 and they’ve enlisted the help of several big name Caribbean artists to help them celebrate in The Big Apple!

And since no Caribbean party would be complete without some 242 representation, some of our very own music celebrities will be in the house to light up the stage.

The “CARIBBEAN ROCKS NYC TEMPO Turns 10”event kicked off on June 1 in New York City as a part of Caribbean Week, and Bahamian artists like Tebby, DMAC, Stilleet, Puzzle, Ira Storr and the Spank Band and the 2016 Music Masters Winner Fanshawn will be in the house reppin’ the 242 on Sunday June 5.

The concert will take place at the legendary BB King Blues Club and Grill in Times Square where other Caribbean artists like Romain Virgo, Ce’Cile, Ziggy Ranking, Rock City, Arita Kerwin Dubois, Shurwayne Winchester and more will also perform.

We heard from one of our Bahamian artists on the lineup, DMAC, who says he plans to plans to “amp up” his already high energy performance with more energy, more great vibes and more Rake N Scrape – all elements that represent what DMAC refers to as “The Bahamian Thing.”

CARIBBEAN ROCKS NYC is a partnership between TEMPO, the Caribbean Tourism Organization (CTO) and Platinum destination partner, The Islands of The Bahamas.

More updates to come from NYC for the big event so stay tuned to our social media channels for all the fun!
