All it takes is a little powder, some good soca music and party goers ready to fete to set things off! I guess we can say the carnival season has officially kicked off after the Carnival Unite party put on by Fresh Entertainment this weekend, set the tone for the next four months.

It’s the third year The Bahamas will be having Bahamas Junaknoo Carnival and it seems like every year more and more people get excited to jump in da line! At Saturday’s event it was clear that the feters are ready to go!

They danced, they partied, they were “duckin’ it,” they got looser than Lucy and really showed who the professional drinkers are.

As promised Carnival Unite painted the skies with vibrant colors as blue, pink, yellow, green, purple and orange powder was flung around. The music was bumping non-stop and the drinks flowed endlessly.

If you missed it, you certainly missed a great party and possibly some pink hair! We’re excited to see how the other carnival parties roll out as we countdown to the road march!
