Once again the Night of Love brand under new ‘promotership’ (Sebas Events & Bahamas Gold Trading) brought an All-Star line up to the Bahamian public for the always highly anticipated Night of Love Event. Acts such as Dru Hill and KC and JoJo, Taurrus Riley and the Night of Love staple Beres Hammond did not disappoint the packed audience, who were ready to have a good time. Dru Hill brought back memories of the mid 90’s with their set including hits songs links “5 Steps” and “Beauty is her Name” who were followed by Mr. Contagious Taurrus RIley who brought the house down with his string of hits. Then the former members of Jodeci – KC and JoJo belted out hit after hit in an energetic performance that was memorable for a few reasons. One the duo seemed to have a small altercation on stage that resulted in Dru Hill coming back on stage to keep the peace supposedly and two they sang some great hits that brought back memories of a better time in the R&B industry. Then to bring it all home was Beres Hammond who did his thing as usual belting out hit after hit to the crowd’s delight into the morning hours. All in all the concert was enjoyable, great music, good people (aka well behaved) , and the show was well produced (shout outs to Zamar on sound and lights ) ( Note to the Wyndham please boost your AC capacity in the ballrooms, it was a bit warm )
