One To Watch: Soaky Siren Drops “Lucaya” EP + “Dope Boys” Visuals

A homegrown gem has been taking over the L.A. music scene recently, helping to pen some of your fave radio hits.

But now, Soaky Siren is stepping in front of the mic and releasing her own music as an artist. We scrolled by a dope (no pun intended) looking video the other day and had to stop, watch and do some research on who the siren was on our screen (ok, pun intended here!).

Soaky Siren is from Grand Bahama and has been living her best like in L.A. for a few years now, working the music industry and leaving that 242 mark in her trail.

The bio on her website is impressive too. It casually notes that she raps, sings and flawlessly weaves through various musical genres with ease. She’s even co-written on hit songs including Jason Derulo’s ‘Tip Toe’, Chris Brown and Rita Ora’s ‘Body on Me’, and Pitbull, J Balvin, and Camila Cabello’s smash hit ‘Hey Ma’.

And now she’s making waves with her new EP Lucaya, that dropped last month. Check out this feature billboard.com (yes that Billboard) did on Soaky Siren.

The song is infectious, the video will keep you watching and the opening line is so Bahamian…we stan!
