Bahamian soca diva Patrice Murrell is at it again with the release of her newest single and latest collaboration “Heavyweight”. The groovy soca jam is collaboration between Patrice and Trinidad’s Swappi, and is currently making waves with radio stations and DeeJays across The Bahamas and Trinidad. The song touts Patrice’s rise in the music industry over the years and how she is now ready to roll with all the big names in the industry- “The Heavy Weights”.

We have followed Patrice’s career and cannot agree more that she has earned the right to the Heavy Weight position. Her steady stream of catchy, fun and vibrant soca tunes, has made her a staple here on the local music scene. Patrice says she hopes this collaboration will be the beginning of not only a big 2020 Carnival season but that it will push her music further and across borders.
