Hailing from the island of Grand Bahama, Stefan was blessed with a unique gift. Singing since the age of 5, Moss discovered his songwriting abilities at the age of 17, forming his first music group “Ekklesia” in 1993. The group was featured on the local Bahamian teen show “Teen Spirit” and rocketed to stardom, capturing their first Bahamian Music Marlin Award the following year. Stefan also captured another Marlin Award for the radio hit “The Rapture” as a member of the group “Supernatural”. After a few years of working behind the scenes in the music industry both here in the Bahamas and internationally, Stefan the Scientist has returned to the mainstream with his new project “Origins” which is now available on iTunes and other music retail sites. The true jewel of this project is the release of the video project for the first single “Rise 242” ft. Tada … the video is a colorful masterpiece that truly features the beauty of The Bahamas …. When asked about the project Stefan said
“With ORIGINS, I felt like it was about time to make a record that reflected on my experiences growing up in the 242 and moving to Atlanta. RISE242 was a way to reach out to my people and encourage them to keep moving forward and upward no matter what. Tada was a perfect choice for a feature because we both developed and honed our skills in the Bahamas and have a passion to see every talented Bahamian artist make it. We are all in this together.”
