The scorching heat was no competition for the queens!
On the Independence Day holiday, Bahamians got a real treat as the 10 ladies vying for the title and crown of Miss World Bahamas put on a show for the crowd at one of the pageant’s preliminary rounds.
The Sands Beer Swimsuit Competition was held at the Estavida Terrace at the Melia Nassau Beach Resort, under the hot summer sun and before an excited and amped up crowd.
One by one, the 10 beauty queens stomped to perfection on the runway as they showed off their toned physiques, rocking appropriately colored aqua bikinis and gold stilettos.
And after they rocked the runway, three finalists were announced: Miss World Eleuthera Geena Thompson, Miss World Long Island Ashley Hamilton Miss World Staniel Cay Shanice Burrows.
They’ll have to wait until crowing night, though, to find out who the judges thought had the best swimsuit body.
The ladies also showed off their goods in the Top Model and BTVI Commonwealth Fabrics Designer Showcase.
The pageant will be held on July 24 at the Melia Nassau Beach Hotel.
