By now you’re probably on your second plate of Thanksgiving Day fixings at your grandmother’s house. While we in The Bahamas don’t officially observe the holiday we love us some food, family dinners, gatherings as well, and yes some jokes!
As the minutes ticked toward Thanksgiving Day on Wednesday night, the #Thanksgivingclapback topic started trending, the memes started rolling and I was CRYING!!!! Real tears flowed down my face all Wednesday night as I scrolled through the long list of memes. In classic form, the hilarious photo/caption combination comedically captured the essence of “family life.”Coming together for dinner after a year of being a part, we’re sure there’s a lot to discuss, bring up and throw in someone’s face at the dinner table. Uncles and aunts who don’t get along, nosey and insulting grandmothers, grandkids who have little to no respect, insults, jeers and shots fired! LOL!
While I condone none of it, I come from a big family so I know what it’s like to sit through some of these scenarios as I peck away at my third slice of pumpkin pie, pretending not to hear anything, but dying on the inside with a resounding, “Mmmmmmhmmmmm”! Here are my favorite #Thanksgivingclapback memes! What are yours?
#Thanksgivingclapback for the win!
