Another weekend is quickly approaching, so what are you doing??? Here are three events you might want to check out this weekend!
The International Cultural Festival – The two-day event has been a hit for years. Bringing together foods, cultural, music and fun from all around the world the ICF provides the perfect outing for the family, a day just for the girls or a boys day out. With booths and stalls set up featuring delicious beers, appetizers and meals from Cuba, Haiti, the Philippines, Germany, The Bahamas and other countries, the ICF has always been a great way to chill out and relax. It happens this Saturday and Sunday at the Botanical Gardens. Ladies, for tips on what to wear to this festival click here!
Art of Brunch – Day parties (or day drinking) are becoming more popular locally. No long do we want to wait for nighttime to party it up. On Saturday The Art of Brunch series kicks off where we’re told there will be art, food, and great vibes. Admission is free but you have to visit the website to RSVP. It all goes down at Harbourfront Coffee House; East Bay Street with full brunch menu 12pm-4pm and a complimentary glass of mimosa upon entry (from 12pm-2pm).
Beres Hammond and Tarrus Riley concert – Now that Hurricane Joaquin is gone the highly anticipated concert is back on this Saturday! Beres and Tarrus are not new to performing for a Bahamian crowd so we expect this to be epic! The concert will be held at at the National Stadium and will also feature Bahamian acts like Willis and the Illest and the Tingum Dem Band.
Have a safe weekend!
