Q: So some have called your style “50 cent ish” do you look up to him ?
A: “Do I look up to him? Well first and foremost I must say that it is a great compliment for people to be comparing me to 50 cent who is a multi-platinum artist. As far as looking up to him, yeah I have a couple 50 cent albums, but I mean when I do my music, I really don’t have any other artist in mind, just completely me, straight ATMoney.”
Q: If not … which Hip Hop Artist do you look up to ?
A: “Some of the artists that I look up to are more of the realer artists in the game such as Young Jeezy, Drake, and again 50 cent. The reason why is because, I feel that everything you put in your music should be as real as possible which would make it as original as possible. And thats just me.”
Q: How do you describe your music and where do you want to see it go?
A: “I would say that my music is world-wide and the reason is because the songs that I compose typically, I strive for everyone to be able to relate to. I would like to see my mu- sic reach an international audience so that they can experience my everyday life on what I go through, how I party, how I vent, and the way I love buy valium online 10 mg germany even if it means giving them both the pretty and ugly sides of life.”
Q: If there was one artist you could collab with .. who would it be ?
A: “God (laughing). I mean I really don’t have anyone in mind but there are some hot artists out there right now. It depends on what type of song for me to really call names on artist collaborations. Feel me?”
Q: What has been your most memorable during your career?
A: “My most memorable moment was per- forming at a concert in Orlando. The place was absolutely crazy. They showed me so much love and it was really a thrill to see my hard work paying off. What was so surprising was that people from that city actually knew every word of my song and that just did something for me.”
Q: What’s the hottest line you ever penned ?
A: “Actually I was in the midst of writing right now and this was a sick line I came up with. It might not be my hottest but i think its crazy line. I said “Oh gosh, well I guess its da Outkast, 3K on some rims, now I’m ridin in da Big Boi.”
Q: Describe the 242 (Bahamian) Hip Hop Industry in your own words ?
A: “Damn. It has come a long way but, it’s one of the most challenging industries in 242 music today. Just to get people to buy into a Bahamian doing Hip Hop music is a chal-lenge within itself.”
Q: What is your latest project ( and how do we find it ?)
A: “My latest project is Petty Cash Volume 2 hosted by DJ Young Cee of Shadyville Gunit Records. You can find that onwww.irepatmon- ey.com, also various mixtapes sites such as www.datpiff.com, and www.coast2coastmix- tapes.com. It is slated to drop on February 29th, so mark your calendar for that.”
