It was Ms. Bahamas 2011 Anastagia Pierre who first got tongues wagging several years ago when she geeked out at meeting Prince Harry during his official visit to The Bahamas in 2012. Of course, with the internet and new media being what it is, the rumour soon spread like wildfire that the two were dating, had plans to marry, have children, takeover Buckingham Palace and switch out all the pitchers of tea with switcher…ok I’m exaggerating but you get the point! Nonetheless, the story got out that Anastagia admitted to crushing on the prince and when they first met the media was all over it!
Now, another Ms. Bahamas is being linked to another celebrity and the internet is all abuzz again! According to The Daily Mail, current Ms. Universe Bahamas Toria Nichole Penn had an interesting night on the town with Portugese soccer player Cristiano Ronaldo. Word on the street is that the pair attended the premiere of a movie Cristiano is in, had dinner, partied it up…and something about a hotel room! (WE’RE NOT JUDGING!) I love to scroll through comments especially since my Bahamian people are so opinionated and they did not disappoint! While Toria looked gorgeous in her all black everything attire, great hair and flawless makeup, many questioned her decision to wear her Ms. Universe Bahamas sash on the “date” as well her decision to wear the black, tight mesh number she wore. Some say it was an “inappropriate choice of clothing” to be representing The Bahamas in. Is that a nip slip??
